Dear Reader,
The Full Moon has come and gone, but its light lingers. It lingers in the body, in the quiet after a circle, in the spaces where something was illuminated and now asks to be held.
I wanted to send you something. A practice to carry with you as the Moon continues to wane, and as the insights from our circle begin to settle into the soil of your being.
This is a gift—not as a task, but as a companion.
It is called Light on the Shadow.
What This Practice Invites
The Full Moon does not only light the sky. It reveals what has been hidden within: postponed emotions, limiting beliefs, desires we were afraid to look at directly.
This practice is an invitation to observe what rises. Not to judge it. Not to change it immediately. But to give it light, illuminate it with your attention.
Because what is illuminated, transforms.
It is simple. It asks for honesty, not perfection. And it is designed to be repeated—each Full Moon, or whenever you feel the call to see with more clarity.
A Companion for the Practice
If you would like to deepen this work, I want to offer you something tangible. Something to hold in your hands as you sit with the questions.
Harmonic Release Bath Salts were crafted for exactly this kind of inner work.
Warming citrus, grounding florals, and the deep release of Himalayan and Epsom salts—infused with blue tansy, ylang-ylang, cinnamon, and clove. They are designed to:
🌊 Support the Water element — helping emotions flow rather than stagnate
🔥 Ignite the Fire of transformation — warming the body so release can happen
🌍 Anchor you in Earth — bringing your awareness into the body, into the present
You can use them before the practice—to settle into your body, to soften the edges of the day. Or after—to let the insights integrate, to let the water hold what the heart has released.
If this calls to you, you can find them here: by clicking here or reply to this email to order.
No pressure. The practice itself is complete. The salts are simply an ally if you choose to welcome it.
The Practice — Light on the Shadow
Below you will find the full practice. Read it through once, then return to it when you have a quiet moment—with your candle, a page, and fully present with your breath.
A Practice for Seeing with Clarity What Usually Remains Hidden… and Beginning to Transform It
Introduction
The Full Moon does not only light the sky. It also reveals what has been hidden within you: postponed emotions, limiting beliefs, desires you were afraid to look at directly.
This practice is designed to help you observe what rises with the Full Moon. Not to judge it or change it immediately, but to give it light. Because what is illuminated, transforms.
Do this practice with honesty, without expectations. It is not about understanding everything. It is about seeing with clarity and opening a new space of awareness in your life.
Preparation
Before you begin, choose a moment of calm. It can be at night, when the Moon is full, or whenever you feel the need to turn inward.
Create a quiet atmosphere, even if simple: a candle, a scent, a stone, a fresh page.
Have a notebook or paper and something to write with.
Take a few deep breaths. Feel your body. You are here.
The Five Key Questions
Answer in writing, without filtering. Let the words arise from what you are feeling more than what you are thinking. Later, you can reread, observe, and deepen.
1. What aspect of myself is asking to be looked at with more honesty right now?
It may be an emotion I tend to deny, a repetitive impulse, a fear, a need.
2. How do I behave when this aspect takes control?
What do I do or say when I act from this place? In what situations does it appear? To whom do I project it?
3. What part of me is protecting itself through this pattern?
What am I trying to avoid? What wound or fear is behind this reaction?
4. What does this part of me need to feel seen, heard, or held?
It may be something as simple as a pause, an expression, a clear boundary, or a loving gaze.
5. What can I do from today to bring more awareness when this arises again?
Choose a concrete action, a phrase, a practice you can remember or apply.
Integration — Transforming What You've Seen into an Act
Awareness is not complete with observation alone.
For true transformation to happen, what you have seen needs to be embodied—carried into the body, into gesture, into symbol, into action.
After answering the questions, choose one of these forms of integration or create your own:
Write a power phrase that summarizes your intention for transformation. Write it on a separate page and place it somewhere visible.
Examples:
- "I allow myself to feel without judgment."
- "I recognize this impulse and transform it into clarity."
Create a physical symbol or talisman: a stone, a folded paper, a dried flower, a ribbon. Something that represents the aspect you are working with and your desire to heal or integrate it.
Perform a symbolic gesture: burn what you wrote, bury it, walk in silence, dance what you feel, draw it.
Speak it aloud or tell someone you trust. Putting into words what you have seen—even if only for yourself—has a powerful effect.
You do not need to resolve everything today. Only take one step.
Hold the light.
Listen to what you once avoided.
Accompany yourself with presence.
Repetition
This practice can be repeated with each Full Moon, or at any moment you need to see more clearly what you are living. Over time, it will help you recognize your inner cycles, your emotional patterns, and cultivate a more compassionate and conscious gaze upon yourself.
Every shadow you illuminate is a part of you that you reclaim.
Every conscious act, however small, opens a door to a new version of yourself.
A Final Note
Clarity does not always arrive with a shout. Sometimes it manifests as a sensation you didn't know you needed, a silent certainty, or a new way of seeing the same old pattern.
Do not rush the answers. They are already within you.
The Moon simply helps you focus the light where before there was only confusion.
This ritual does not end when you blow out the candle.
It begins the moment you choose to hold the attention your soul requested when you spoke your question.
Trust in your capacity to see, to feel, to understand.
Trust your intuition—it does not shout, but it always knows.
The truth is on its way.
And it has your voice.
