Dear Reader,
There are seasons when life asks us to release what we have been carrying so that there is room for something new to be planted.
This is one of those moments.
Since the last lunar cycle, so much has happened. I have been raising funds to support the reconstruction of a Waldorf school in Cali, Colombia, and a community center that serves low income children. Both were badly impacted by the earthquake that struck my hometown in August.
And I want to share something with you. I will be matching every donation, dollar for dollar, myself.
Not because I have to. But because this cause lives in my heart. Because I have seen the children, the families, the teachers. Because I know what it means to rebuild from the ground up. And because I want this to be a marvelous, abundant offering, not just for those who receive it, but for all of us who give.
To everyone who has already donated, attended a session, or shared this cause with someone else. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
This summer shook me. The earthquake in my homeland. The passing of my beloved spiritual brother Godfrey. The eclipse season that carried all of it.
But what I have come to understand is this. The shaking did not break me. It opened me.
It opened me to what truly matters. To the sweetness of being present with someone in their final days. To the love that does not end. To the joy that lives on the other side of grief. To the clarity that comes when you stop trying to control what you cannot control and you simply say yes to what is.
The result of that opening is what you are seeing now. The fundraising. The sessions. The joyful photos of women smiling together after a sound journey. The abundance that is pouring in, not despite the hardship, but because of the love that hardship uncovered.
And now, we arrive at the New Moon in Libra.
Before the New Moon in Libra, we move through what is called the balsamic phase. The final days of the lunar cycle. The dark of the moon. The moment before the seed is planted.
This is not a time to launch. This is not a time to push. This is a time to release.
Think of it like this. You cannot plant a new seed in soil that is still full of old roots. First, you clear the ground. You let the old things decompose. You rest. And then, when the soil is ready, you plant.
That is what this window is for.
And this cycle, the release window is being amplified. The Moon is in Virgo, the sign of the body, health, habits, and daily rhythm. Very little earth is in the sky right now, which means your body may be speaking more loudly than usual. Fatigue. Aches. Sensitivity. The feeling of not being able to stand anyone or anything.
This is not a sign that something is wrong. It is a sign that something is asking to be felt. Something that has been held in the body, waiting for your attention.
The fast path is to feel it. Not to avoid it. Not to numb it. Not to explain it away. Once something unconscious becomes conscious, transformation happens naturally. But if we avoid it, we carry it for years.
1. Your Direction & Intention
What Needs Clarity? What Direction Am I Choosing?
The New Moon in Libra is asking a beautiful question. Not "what do I want?" but "what is mine to do in this larger whole?"
Libra is the sign of relationship, balance, harmony, and justice. It invites us to ask: where am I out of balance? Where am I giving too much? Where am I receiving too little? Where am I in right relationship with myself and with others?
Your Metal Practice:
Finding what is ready to be reframed and open space
Take a piece of paper. On one side, write: What believe am I ready to reframe or shift?
On the other side, write: What new believe am I planting or nourishing?
You do not need to have the answers. Just begin. The clarity will come as you write.
Somatic Check: Place your hand on your heart, inhale deeply and ask: "Is my heart light or heavy? Or is it clouded by a story?"
2. Emotion: Your Creative Energy in Motion
What Needs to Flow? What Emotion Is Asking for Release?
Venus and Mercury are both in Scorpio right now, moving slowly and retrograde. This is deep water. The kind that holds memory. The kind that brings old loves, old wounds, and old patterns to the surface, not so you can relive them, but so you can choose differently.
Scorpio rules the depths. The unconscious. The places we do not always see but that shape everything we do. This is the moment to descend, gently and with intention, into those waters.
A Water Practice: Black Cohosh Bath
Black Cohosh is a plant ally of deep release. It has been used for generations to unwind ancestral patterns, to soften what has been held too tightly, and to support the body through transitions. It is not a gentle herb. It is a wise one. It asks you to be present with what arises.
If you feel called, draw a warm bath. Add a few drops of Black Cohosh tincture, or a tea made from the root, to the water. As you soak, set an intention. I am willing to see what is ready to be seen. I am willing to release what is ready to be released.
Let the water hold you. Let whatever rises be witnessed, not fixed. You do not have to solve it tonight. You only have to see it.
If you do not have Black Cohosh, or if you would prefer to work with it under guidance, I can source a high quality herb or tincture for you. Just reply to this email and let me know. I am happy to support you in this practice.
Somatic Check: After you bath, place your hands on your belly, inhale deeply, and explore any new sensations, or if anything has shifted, even slightly.
Let it rise. Let it flow. You are the perceiver and whatever emotion arises it cannot hurt you.
3. Your Vital Expression
What Wants to Be Born? What Is My Authentic Expression?
From the deep ocean of emotions, your inner voice rises. It always does. This is the nature of the spiral. Water feeds Wood. The feeling moves into expression. The inner becomes visible.
This New Moon is not asking you to perform your expression. It is asking you to allow it. To let the voice rise and enable the vibration move through you.
๐ณ Your Wood Practice:
Chanting and Humming
If you have a mantra you love, chant it. If you do not, you can simply sound the five vowels. A, E, I, O, U. One at a time. Slowly. Let each vowel find its own pitch in your body.
Or simply hum. Let the hum move through your chest, your throat, your skull. Feel the vibration.
This is not about singing well. It is about feeling the sound in your body. Chanting and humming have been shown to increase nitric oxide in the body, which supports circulation, reduces inflammation, and helps reset the nervous system. But more than that, they remind you that your voice is a tool of creation. Your vibration matters.
Speak. Hum. Chant. Let the sound remind you that you are here, and you are allowed to take up space.
Somatic Check: Place your hand on your throat. Feel the vibration. Notice if there is tightness. Notice if there is release, or any sensation that arises give it your full attention and curiosity.
4. Choosing Aligned Action
What Is My Aligned Action? What Ignites Me?
The energy in the sky right now is intense. There is a lot of fixed energy, which means the invitation is not to change everything, but to sustain what you could not sustain before. To hold what you have been avoiding. To feel what you have been numbing.
Aligned action right now is not about doing more. It is about choosing presence and awareness from the root of your being.
Your Fire Practice: Candle Gazing
Choose a good quality beeswax candle. Not a paraffin candle, not a scented one with synthetic fragrances. Beeswax burns cleanly and releases negative ions into the air, which can support a clearer, calmer environment. It also carries the wisdom of the hive. The fire of the sun, transmuted by the bees into wax.
Light the candle as you wake, and again before you sleep.
Sit with it. Let your gaze soften. Do not stare. Just rest your eyes on the flame. Let the flame be the anchor for your attention.
Ask: What is igniting in me right now? What is asking to be seen? What is ready to be transformed?
Then let the flame hold the question. You do not need an answer. You just need to be present with the fire.
Somatic Check: Before you fall into thinking again, aim to feel in your body the nudges of the answer. Explore your sensations, is it heavy, tight, cold, burning. Your body knows the answer and will guide you.
5. Nurturing Embodiment
How Do I Integrate This? How Does This Land in My Body?
The Moon is in Virgo, which rules the body, the belly, digestion, and the daily rhythms that keep us grounded. This is the healing chamber of the cycle. This is where the body becomes the teacher.
As we move from summer into fall, the digestive system often becomes sluggish. The body is shifting. The seasons are changing. And the belly, which is the center of our assimilation, asks for attention.
โ
๐ Your Earth Practice: โ
โConscious Digestion
This week, notice your digestion. Not with judgment. With curiosity.
How does your body feel after meals? Heavy? Light? Clear? Cloudy? Are you eating foods that nourish you, or foods that comfort you? Are you eating slowly, or rushing?
You do not need to change everything overnight. Just begin to notice. And if you feel called, adjust. Maybe a warm cooked meal instead of a cold one. Maybe fewer raw foods. Maybe more soups, stews, and root vegetables that support the earth element within you.

THE SPIRAL
"Freedom is what you do with what has been done to you"
Jean Paul Sartre
This past cycle, I was reminded that love does not end. It transforms. That the shaking does not break us. It opens us. That abundance is not something we chase. It is something we resonate with when we remember who we are and what we are here to give.
The New Moon in Libra opens a six month cycle rooted in relationship, balance, and justice. But only if the release work is done first.
So this is your invitation. Release what is ready. Feel what is asking to be felt. And then, when the New Moon arrives, plant your seed in clean soil.
The spiral continues. Not as a circle that returns to the same place, but as a spiral that returns to the same truth at a deeper level.
You are held. You are loved. You are love. And you are guided by wisdom that is bigger than you.
